Okay okay, this one is a bit cheesy, I’m fully aware of that. But isn’t it a bit sad that words like “peace” an “kids” are considered to be cheesy in pop music ? Both words represent incredibly important things in our society, don’t they ?
Anyway, the song was released around thanksgiving and Christmas, and in that timeframe all is permitted. I really liked doing this. It took a year of preparation to get this whole project nailed. The kids are just everyday normal kids from the neighbourhood. I thank them and their parents on my bare knees for their cooperation and dedication. The french lyrics are written by my dear friend Catherine Mys.
